Hawksbill turtles were observed nesting along the coast of Baluran, mainly at Batu Hitam Beach. The eggs relocated to a hatchery on Bama Beach, which is beach where hawksbill have never been seen laying naturally. Referring natal homing/philopatry hypothesis, hatchlings that are released Beach will likely come back lay in future. Meanwhile, planned be developed into tourist area. Parameter diamati adalah lebar kemiringan pantai, persentase pasir, intensitas cahaya, vegetasi bangunan, jarak antara dengan area pakan. Tidak terdapat perbedaan kondisi signifikan kedua tersebut.
